There are a number of different advantages to online games. As discussed previously, there are some MMOGs that are very successful, and those that are not. Some have the best online games, while others are not even that great. What makes a multiplayer game good? There are a few different factors at work, here are some examples.

First, the game must have an active user base. If you have a huge population playing on one server, the server isn’t going to be able to handle all the users. That means if you want to play a popular online game and you also want a large population of friends to connect with, you should play that game on a site that has a high friend count, where the players also create lots of friendships. That way, everyone wins. It’s quite that simple.
